About Tina

Tina acquired experience with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffractometry (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography, X-ray scattering (SAXS), rheology, and optical microscopy at Louisiana State University where she also instructed laboratory classes in general chemistry and advanced organic chemistry.  At CAMP, Tina runs the SEM and XRD, and is in charge of sample preparation for both. She performs acid solubility studies, and conducts brightness, water content, and thermal analyses.  She trains students on the SEM, XRD and serves as an advisor to graduate research students in Montana Tech’s Mechanical Engineering Department. Tina’s extreme care regarding sample preparation, her efficiency in the execution of her work, and her technical editing skills are huge assets to CAMP.
