Student Services

Meet your Dean of Students

We care about our students at Montana Tech! Here are some of the ways students can get assistance while living on or off campus:

Montana Tech Counseling services provides individual, couples, family and group counseling for students attending Tech. Career and education planning is also provided. A variety of services, free of cost, are offered to assist students in their success at Montana Tech and in their own personal goals. Visit Counseling pages.

Disability Services

Montana Tech is committed to ensuring full and equal participation by eliminating barriers and making the appropriate accommodations that allow persons with disabilities to have equal opportunity in all aspects of campus life.

For more information, visit the Disability Services pages.

Health Center

Montana Tech's Student Health Center provides a nurse on duty four hours a day, five days a week, and a physician on duty two hours a day, five days a week. All students registered for 7 or more credits are eligible for Health Center services. Examples of services include: throat cultures, allergy shots, health care counseling, treating sprains, giving and removing stitches, and assistance with other health problems. Visit the Health Center page.

Health Insurance

Students are required to carry health insurance. Montana Tech provides student health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Health insurance fees are included on the student's bill. Students who have other health insurance coverage may drop the Blue Cross Blue Shield plan and fee by returning a signed waiver form to the Student life Programs Office. Learn more...

International Students

The Student Life Programs Office works with international students to maintain proper immigration status with the Unites States Citizenship and Immigration Service. The office also provides counseling for international students experiencing difficulties of transition from one culture to another.

All international students should contact Margie Pascoe (406.498.4477) upon arrival at Montana Tech.

Career Services

Whether you are a student, alumni, or employer, Career Services is committed to assisting you in achieving your goals. We invite you to explore the resources on the Career Services web page and in our office.

Visit the Career Services pages.

Information Technology

I.T. provides help and support for students' technology needs. Visit the web site.

The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) is a walk-in tutoring center. Students pay for the use of the TLC as part of their fees, so there is no costs to student to see the tutors.

Visit the ACE pages for hours and tutoring topics and schedules.
