Accreditation Information
Montana Tech is accredited through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).
The Year 7 Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness was submitted to the Commission in Spring of 2024. The NWCCU Peer Evaluation Team visited campus and based on the recommendations of the team, Montana received notice of reaffirmation of accreditation by the NWCCU Commission.
Future Evaluations are scheduled as follows:
- Ad Hoc Report, Spring 2025
- Ad Hoc Report and Visit, Spring 2026
- Mid-Cycle Review, Spring 2027
- Year 6 Policies, Regulations, and Financial Review, Spring 2030
- Year 7 Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness, Spring 2032
