In-Person or Virtually, Welcome!

Montana Tech hosts personalized campus visits for prospective students and families on most weekday afternoons. Convenient individualized virtual visits are also available via Zoom.

Virtual Visits

Individualized virtual visits are available on most weekdays. Virtual visits can include meetings with faculty members, financial aid information, and more.

To sign up, simply complete this form: https://iam.mtech.edu/campusvisit/inquiryform and then register for the date and time of your choice. 

In-Person Visits

Montana Tech hosts prospective undergraduate students on campus most weekdays. Visits are typically scheduled Monday - Friday from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

During your visit, you will meet with an admissions counselor, explore your financial aid options, and take a tour of campus. Your visit may also include optional/extended sessions detailed below. 

Based on your interests, the day follows this general schedule:

1:00 pm           - Check In/Welcome

1:15 pm           - Walking Tour of Campus

2:15-4:00 pm  - Optional/Extended Sessions:

- Meet with a faculty member in your academic area of interest**
- Discuss Veteran Benefits
- Learn About Disability Services
- Have your transfer transcript evaluated
- Highlands Campus Tour: For those interested in a 2-year degree or certificate program wishing to tour our Highlands College campus.

**There are certain times of the year (i.e. finals week, summer, etc.) when faculty availability will be limited. 

To sign up for a visit, at least five days in advance, simply complete this form: https://iam.mtech.edu/campusvisit/inquiryform and then register for the date and time of your choice. 

Current Covid-19 Precautions:

  • All surfaces in meeting spaces will be disinfected prior to your arrival.
  • Appropriate social distance will be maintained throughout your visit. We'd love to shake your hand, but that will have to wait. 
  • All visitors and our staff are required to wear a mask covering nose and mouth during the visit, in accordance with Montana University System policy.  *Please contact us prior to signing up if you have a health condition that prevents you from wearing a mask.*
  • Do not come for a visit if you are feeling sick or have been in recent contact with someone who is sick. 
  • Visitors are not currently able to enter our Residence Halls (dorms) in an effort to reduce potential exposure to our residents.

Please note that all or some portions of your visit may be conducted with other students and their families.

 

Tech Day - Spring 2021

Join us for our Spring Tech Day and learn about life and learning as an Oredigger! This event will feature a campus tour, admissions information, and experiential classroom sessions. Choose between three separate experiential tracks in Engineering, Health Sciences, and Business/Computer Science. 

A sack lunch will be provided to all attendees.
