About Steven

Steven foster comes to CAMP as a non-traditional student, on track for a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with minors in both business administration and statistics.  From 2015 to 2019, he worked in Washington DC in the US senator’s office holding multiple positions, including Staff and Legislative Assistant and Legislative Correspondent and Aide. He brings a polished set of soft skills to the business side of CAMP, helping us with client correspondence, billing, administration and marketing. His writing and editing skills, honed when he was the senate staff liaison to heads of government agencies, industry stakeholders, lobbying organizations and constituents, are a welcome asset to CAMP. In addition, Steven works in all three CAMP materials labs, conducting mineral processing, metallography analysis, and mechanical testing. CAMP is grateful to have Steven on board and welcomes his diverse skill-set coupled with his calm demeanor.
