Freshman Engineering Program

Pre-FEP

Freshman Engineering students with ACT/SAT math placement scores at the Intermediate or College Algebra level will be required to enroll in a Pre-Engineering curriculum until they are ready for Pre-Calculus.

The Pre-Engineering curriculum is proven to successfully prepare students for the intensive Freshman Engineering Program and is highly recommended. However, if you feel your placement should be higher, two options are available:

• Placement Exams are placement tools used to place students in the appropriate math and writing classes. To register for an Placement Exam call Barb Collins at 406-496-3791. Learn more about the Testing/Placement Exams here.
