Montana Tech Nursing Named a Top RN to BSN Program

Rn to BSN badge imageMontana Technological University’s nursing program was named one of the top RN to BSN programs in the western region by NursingProcess.org, an online resource that simplifies access to nursing education and career information for students.

Out of the 73 accredited RN to BSN programs in the western region, Montana Tech landed in the No. 4 position. The top five universities in order are:
1. California State University-San Marcos
2. California State University-Chico
3. California State University-Channel Islands
4. Montana Tech
5. University of Utah

“We are honored to be ranked #4 nationally for our RN to BSN program. Montana Tech Nursing is committed to providing excellent nursing education that is accessible and affordable to anyone seeking a BSN degree,” said Rebecca M. Lopez, assistant professor in Montana Tech’s Nursing program and BSN Post-License Completion Program Chair and Advisor.

Janet Coe, interim director of Montana Tech’s Nursing Program, explained, “Montana Tech is committed to providing accessible and quality nursing education and we are honored to receive this recognition.”

Karen Vandaveer, interim dean of the College of Letters, Sciences, and Professional Studies at Montana Tech added, “Montana Tech’s RN to BSN is 100% online and gives the registered nurse an opportunity to earn a bachelor degree without leaving their community or giving up employment,”
