Montana Tech's RN to BSN Program Ranked Among Top in the Nation

Montana Technological University’s RN to BSN program has been ranked among the top in the nation by Nursing Process. Out of the 73 accredited RN to BSN Programs in the Western Region, Montana Tech ranked in the #4 position. The Western Region includes Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. The top five RN to BSN program on the list are:   

  • California State University-San Marcos
  • California State University-Chico
  • California State University–Channel Islands
  • Montana Tech 
  • University of Utah 

The rankings were based on three factors which are: academic quality, nursing school’s overall reputation, and affordability. 

“We continue to strive for excellence in nursing education. This recognition validates our dedication to the advancement of the profession,” noted Karen VanDaveer, Director of Nursing at Montana Tech. 

Montana Tech’s nursing students enjoy a 100% placement rate. 

Montana Tech Chancellor Les Cook added, “I remain incredibly proud of our nursing program and all they accomplish. These rankings serve as a reminder of the incredible work our faculty and staff do to prepare our graduates for a very opportunistic future.”
