ENTREPRENEURSHIP SPEAKER PANEL: HOW TO GET ROLLING? WHO HAS YOUR BACK?

Montana Tech’s Department of Business is hosting an Entrepreneurship Speaker Panel: How to Get Rolling? Who Has Your Back? on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 11:30 am in ELC 327. 

The public is welcome to attend. Department Head Todd Tregidga will moderate the question and answer forum and includes a who’s who list of local entrepreneurs as follows:

Karen Byrnes - Community Development Director, Butte-Silver Bow 

A Montana Tech graduate, Karen is responsible for economic and community development for Silver Bow County. This job encompasses project development, budget management, and public relations. She works with other government officials and the private sector to encourage community-wide development activities.

Brent Donnelly – Director, US Small Business Administration-Montana 

Brent Donnelly accepted the SBA Montana District Director role in March 2020 after joining the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in August 2018 as the Deputy in Montana. Mr. Donnelly brings an extensive background in economic development and small business ownership, which adds value.

Kelly Sullivan – Executive Director, Butte Local Development Corp 

Kelly is a Montana Tech graduate currently serving as the Executive Director of both Butte Local Development Corporation and Headwaters RC&D. Prior to that, she spent valuable time in digital marketing and grant writing and 25 years in hotel management overseeing several properties.

John Winston – Vice President/Branch President, Glacier Bank 

John is a Branch President overseeing three Glacier Bank Branches in Southwest Montana. He has been in the banking business since 1999 when he started in the commercial lending area with Wells Fargo. He Joined Glacier Bank in 2002 and continues to be heavily involved in commercial lending.
