Montana Tech Named Top 50 Best Public Value College by Princeton Review

The Princeton Review has listed Montana Technological University as one of 209 outstanding institutions in the nation as a Best Value College 2022 and as a Top 50 Best Value Public College.

The list is compiled from data collected from 650 colleges. The Princeton Review uses 40 data points that evaluate academics, affordability, and career preparation to determine its best value colleges.

Montana Tech is the only university in Montana be included as a Best Value Public College 2022, which includes some of the most renowned universities in the world, including Yale, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

From the 209 qualifying schools, the Princeton Review created seven ranked lists, one of which is solely based on return-on-investment, or ROI, and determines the Top 50 Best Value Public Colleges. Montana Tech ranks #47 on the list. Return on investment is determined by dividing profit earned on an investment by the cost of investment, proving once again that investment in a degree from Montana Tech pays off for graduates. The University of Washington, University of Utah, and University of Colorado-Boulder are the only other universities to appear on the list in the Rocky Mountain West and Pacific Northwest.
