Montana Tech Wellness and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) are co-hosting an event to show the film “Picture a Scientist” to the campus. This film was an Official Selection at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival. It follows the careers of three women in science. Their experiences pass through microaggressions to hostility and sexual harassment with the field of science.

A screening of the film will occur on the Montana Tech campus on Thursday, February 18th, in the Library Auditorium. The film will also be available for an on-demand screening for 72 hours beginning Thursday, February 18th at 7:00 pm.
On Tuesday, February 23rd, Montana Tech Wellness and SWE will host a panel discussion about the film on campus. The discussion will also be available via Zoom. The panel discussion will take place from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
