Montana Tech students brought home First Place in the Environmental Challenge and First, Second and Third Places in the 2016 Young Professional Papers competition. The competitions were part of the PNWIS Conference held October 5 - 7 in Juneau, Alaska.

Team Catch and Release Consulting brought home First Place and included Environmental Engineering students Carson Bechtel, Ryan Cochran, Kelly Hertel, Hunter Kent, and Emilie Rott.
The 2016 Young Professional Papers competition evaluates students on the basis of technical content, visual aids, and presentation skills.
