KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the teams for the 2023 NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship First & Second Rounds presented by Ballogy. Montana Tech is ranked No. 4 in the Cramer Bracket of the 64-team field. In addition to Montana Tech, No. 5 Thomas Moore (Ky.), No. 12 Eastern Oregon, and No. 13 Westmont (Calif.) will play in Butte to determine which team will move on to the final site along with 16 other teams.
No. 4 Montana Tech plays the No. 13 Westmont Warriors at 7 p.m. Tuesday in first round action. The No. 5 Thomas Moore (Ky.) Knights play the No. 12 Eastern Oregon Mountaineers in the early game with tip-off slated for 5 p.m. on Kelvin Sampson Court in the HPER Complex.
The winners of the first round will face each other in the second round Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
Season ticket holders have first right of refusal for their seats. They have until 5 p.m. on Friday to confirm their seats for the games.
Reserved tickets are $20 for the first round games and include both contests Tuesday. For the second round on Wednesday, reserved tickets are $15. Only reserved tickets will be available during presale. General admission tickets are $12 for the first round and $10 for the second round. General admission tickets will be available at the door only.
Tickets go on sale Monday March 6th at 9 a.m. in the HPER Complex in office 145. The office will be open to purchase tickets until 5 p.m. on Monday and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Tickets for the second round will be available from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling Montana Tech Athletics at 406.496.4105.
The doors open at 4 p.m. Tuesday and 6 p.m. Wednesday.
