Interim Dean of the Graduate School

Katie leads graduate education with vision and dedication, overseeing academic excellence, student success, and program innovation. A tenured professor and former Department Head of Chemistry at Montana Tech, she brings deep expertise and a passion for advancing graduate education. Outside of work, Katie enjoys time with her family and occasionally teaches Pilates classes on campus.

Director of Graduate Enrollment

From recruitment through graduation, Jesse oversees admissions, enrollment operations, policy implementation, and student engagement. His goal is to ensure every graduate student’s experience is smooth, clear, and well-supported. In his free time, he enjoys hiking Montana’s mountains with his wife and two kids.

Program Manager of the Graduate School

Siranda manages domestic and international applications, graduation processes, graduate student assistantships, and the Graduate School’s website, social media, and marketing efforts. A Montana Tech alumna, she is passionate about enhancing the graduate student experience and loves traveling in her spare time.

Helen Joyce
Helen Joyce

Operations Manager, Micro-Credentials Program

Helen Joyce serves as operations manager for the Micro-Credentials Program. She is an engineer and project management professional (PMP) with over 35 years of experience managing projects and programs for multiple government and private sector clients--many with an emphasis on mining-related issues. Helen has BS in Engineering Science from Montana Tech and is excited to expand her experience into the education realm in support of the Micro-Credentials Program at her alma mater.

Program Coordinator, Micro-Credentials Program

Colton Taylor is a dedicated program coordinator for the Micro-Credentials Program that will support students. He will assist students with the application process, enrollment, and progress towards the certificate.
