About Julie

Having worked with a range of materials systems over the last fourteen years, Julie brings strong fundamental knowledge of materials structure and properties to CAMP. Her specialties include materials testing and failure analysis through integration of analytical and materials characterization techniques. She oversees materials testing within CAMP, and is well-versed with x-ray diffraction, thermal gravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, Raman and IR spectroscopy, light and electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, electron backscatter diffraction, and mechanical testing methods. Julie loves failure analysis as well as working with diverse and unique materials systems to probe their fundamental properties.
