Permian Basin Chapter - Alumni Chapters

The Permian Basin is the current epicenter of the oil and gas industry. Over the past seven years Permian Basin oil production has grown from 700,000 BOPD to over 4,000,000 BOPD, largely displacing international barrels from the US market. The current rate of Permian oil production is more than double the previous peak oil production from the late 1970’s, some have called this the Permian lead second “Hubbert’s Peak” . This Chapter aims to reach out to fellow Montana Tech alumni in the area to increase networking, provide volunteer opportunities, plan local social activities, and ultimately provide funds for Montana Tech scholarships to return top talent to the Permian Basin workforce.
