Montana Tech announces 2026 Homecoming events

Montana Technological University is pleased to announce Homecoming events, featuring an action-packed Saturday of athletics on October 10. The Oredigger football team will kick off the day by facing Montana State University-Northern in football at 1:00 pm, followed by the volleyball team taking on Mayville State at 5:00 pm in the HPER.

The Montana Tech Foundation and the Montana Tech Alumni Association will bestow the Chancellor’s Award of Distinction, Distinguished Alumni Awards, and Early Impact Award at a hosted ceremony at the Butte Country Club on Friday, October 9 at 6 p.m.

To celebrate the week, a full lineup of student Homecoming events is planned:

• Monday: Movie Night, 7-9 p.m.
• Tuesday: Arts & Crafts in the SUB, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
• Wednesday: Food Truck on North Campus, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
• Thursday: Arts & Crafts in the SUB, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
• Friday: Bed Races, noon
