Highlands College to host Career Fair March 31

A recruiter talks with students

Highlands College at Montana Technological University will host a Career Fair on Tuesday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will connect students in the skilled trades with employers seeking hardworking individuals for in-demand careers.

The career fair is designed to give employers the opportunity to meet Highlands students preparing for careers in the trades and technical fields. Organizers hope to host up to 25 employers, providing companies with a direct pathway to recruit students who are eager to enter the workforce.

“The Highlands Career Fair will be an opportunity for employers looking for roll-up-your-sleeves, get-to-work individuals in the trades,” Director of Career Services Aaron Frale said. “Highlands has hardworking students looking for work, and we wanted to highlight all the great things happening at Highlands while connecting students with employers who need their skills.”

The event is the result of collaboration between Highlands College and Montana Tech’s Career Services team to strengthen connections between employers and students pursuing careers in the trades.

Students, faculty, and staff can preview participating employers by downloading the CareerFair+ app, which will list the companies attending the fair. Students planning to attend should bring their DiggerCard for rapid kiosk check-in at the event.

To help students prepare, Career Services will offer resume assistance and help with professional clothing needs in the Highlands Commons on March 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. and March 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
