Montana Tech to host clothing swap

Students sort through clothing

Montana Technological University will host a Clothing Swap on Thursday, November 21, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Copper Lounge of the Student Union Building.

The event invites students, faculty, staff, and the community at large to refresh their wardrobes in a sustainable and community-centered way. Participants are encouraged to bring gently used clothing items to exchange with others.

“Inspired by my community and my 5518 sweatshirt that says, ‘Community Means Everyone,’ this clothing swap is for everyone,” Program Manager of Outreach and Success Cheyenne Crooker said. “Come to Tech for any or all the time we’ll be hosting. Enjoy some tea and cookies, and time with friends and colleagues, while you refresh your wardrobe in a sustainable fashion. If you do not have things to donate, that’s okay! Come up! Let’s continue the momentum of Butte’s community-focused energy and take care of one another as we move into a change in season.”
