Montana Tech nursing students organize food drive to support local families

Montana Tech nursing students are hosting a community food drive on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Three Bears in Butte to collect non-perishable food items for local families in need.

The Sherry Lesar School of Nursing requires that students organize a community outreach project to benefit underserved populations. All donations collected will help support the Butte Food Pantry.

“Please come and help us support our local community in this time of need,” nursing student Gina Fox said. “Any donations are appreciated.”
