Judo Club members bring home awards from Big Sky State Games

Two members of Montana Tech Judo Club brought home awards from the Big Sky State Games held in Billings July 18-20.

The Olympic-style amateur sports festival is open to people of all ages and abilities who reside in Montana.

Gavin Rahl (B.S. Environmental Engineering, ’24), an environmental engineering master’s student from Stevensville, took home third place in the male adult male mixed rank contest.

Jade Uriarte (B.S. Biological Sciences, ’25), from Stevensville, took home third place in the female open division for teen to 23 years.

Devin Amtmann (Electrical Engineering, ’24) also traveled with Uriarte and Rahl to competition.
