Montana Technological University will welcome students’ families to campus for a fun-filled weekend full of quality time and adventure in Butte, America on October 11-13, 2024.
“Montana Tech is so pleased to offer this tradition and provide opportunities for our students to show their families and friends our campus and everything that makes the Oredigger community special,” Vice Provost for Student Success and Dean of Students Dr. Joe Cooper said. “It's going to be a great weekend, and whether you choose to go explore Butte on your own, or take part in one of our scheduled events, we look forward to having you here!"
Events taking place Friday include a family social in the Mineral Museum from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Montana Tech History Tours at 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
On Saturday, a trek up the M will take off at 9:30 a.m., underground mine tours will take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and trolley tours will take place at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
