The Montana Tech Student Wellness Task Force and Safe Space have partnered to bring the “Silent Witness Initiative” to the Montana Tech campus to promote Domestic/Dating Violence Prevention. The 78 life-sized plywood red silhouettes depict women and children who have been killed as a result of domestic violence in Montana since 1990. The silhouettes will be on display in the Mill Building through the month of November, beginning November 5. All are invited to visit this impactful display.
Solemn as it is, there is hope that victim numbers will reduce and eventually be eliminated. Please join in helping current victims become survivors. Speak out and step up when you see actions that could become dangerous. Be a Montana Tech “Frontstander” not a passive bystander.
