Dr. John W. Ray of Montana Tech’s Liberal Studies Department has had two peer reviewed papers accepted for presentation at international conferences this summer. He will present a paper entitled “The Audience as a Necessary Ethical Construct for Argumentation” at the ninth International Society for the Study of Argumentation Conference to be held at the University of Amsterdam, Holland. He will also be presenting a paper entitled “China’s Search for Energy Security” at the 11th Global Studies Conference at the University of Granada, Spain.
Dr. Ray teaches classes at Montana Tech in communications and political science/theory. He is also making a presentation this summer at a conference in Athens, Greece on the epistemology of intuition versus the epistemology of reason.
