Montana Tech has been recognized by the Annual RegisteredNursing.org RN Program State Rankings as the #1 ranked RN program in Montana. Montana Tech is followed in order by Helena College, Montana State University, Missoula College and Carroll College.
Montana Tech is one of only two public universities in the state to offer a pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The Montana Tech Nursing Program offers two degrees: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Pre-Licensure and Bachelor of Science in Nursing Post-Licensure Completion. Student study in the newly renovated Health Sciences Building which includes a brand new state-of-the-art simulation lab.
RegisteredNursing.org ranked the top 5 nursing schools in Montana by analyzing current and historical NCLEX-RN "pass rates," meaning the percentage of graduates who pass the exam, out of the 12 RN programs in the state. Programs reviewed include schools that offer an Associate in Nursing (ADN/ASN), BSN, or Direct-Entry MSN Degree.
