Montana Tech Club Wrestler Named Academic All American

Montana Tech student Jake Hobbes from Idaho Falls, Idaho was named Academic All American at the National Collegiate Wrestling Association National Championship Tournament in Dallas, Texas. A student-athlete must have a 3.25 or higher GPA, at least a junior academically, and must qualify for the National Tournament. Jake has a 3.7 GPA in petroleum engineering. He wrestles at 285# for Montana Tech’s club wrestling team. Hobbes placed 3rd in the region tournament at Grays Harbor College on February 25th.
