Four Montana Tech students with the Montana Tech’s Business Guild (Club) are headed to the National competition April 19-22 hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. Last year, Montana Tech established and hosted the state collegiate DECA competition for Montana and again hosted the event in early February this year. In that competition, four students placed in the top three of their divisions, qualifying them for the National competition.
Founded in 1946, DECA is a premier international student organization that seeks to prepare emerging business leaders and entrepreneurs. DECA has many corporate sponsors including Marriott, Hilton, and Walgreens corporations. DECA has 225,000 members and 5300 chapters.
