Montana Tech announced today a donation from Dick Anderson Construction in the amount of $100,000. The funds will be used to support the future Student Success Center (SSC), a 25,000-square-foot building with space for living and learning. Within the SSC, a Student Collaboration Space will carry the Dick Anderson Construction name. The SSC will be a central gathering place for all students, where leadership and teamwork skills are developed. It will be a place to learn and study, to relax and play. The Student Success Center is designed to assist Montana Tech in recruiting, retaining, educating and graduating more problem solvers, innovators, healers, trailblazers and leaders to enter the work force and advance the world.
“We are very thankful for this donation from Dick Anderson Construction,” noted Joe McClafferty, President of the Montana Tech Foundation. “This gift will move Montana Tech forward and will put more outstanding young, energetic, hardworking Orediggers on the path to extraordinary lives. The Student Success Center is another step on the plan to keep advancing the top STEM university in Montana.”
