Montana Tech Foundation Executive Director Michael Barth has been certified as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
“Michael has worked extremely hard to earn the CFRE,” noted Joe McClafferty, Montana Tech Vice Chancellor for Advancement and University Relations and President of the Montana Tech Foundation. “Michael is a true a professional in the world of Fundraising. We are lucky to have a dedicated and resourceful fundraiser like Michael at the Montana Tech Foundation.”
CFRE International announced the most recent class of CFREs who join over 5,500 professionals around the world who hold the CFRE designation. Individuals granted the CFRE credential have met a series of standards set by CFRE International which include tenure in the profession, education, demonstrated fundraising achievement and a commitment to service to not-for-profit organizations. They have also passed a rigorous written examination testing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a fundraising executive, and have agreed to uphold Accountability Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights.
CFRE International is an independent organization dedicated to upholding the highest standards in ethical philanthropic fundraising through the certification of fundraising executives. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and led by a small professional staff, CFRE International consistently meets the highest standards for certification excellence. The CFRE credential is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
