U.S. News and World Report released their 2015 Best College rankings. Montana Tech tied for the No. 5 spot for Top Regional Colleges in the West and landed in the No. 1 spot for Top Public Regional Colleges in the West.
According to the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, these schools focus almost entirely on the undergraduate experience and offer a broad range of programs in the liberal arts (which account for fewer than half of all bachelor’s degrees granted) and in fields such as business, nursing and education. They grant few graduate degrees.
“We are pleased to land on the list of top colleges in the West again,” noted Montana Tech Chancellor Don Blackketter. “This ranking demonstrates the quality education we provide at Montana Tech. I want to thank our faculty and staff for their dedication to Montana Tech and for providing a top-notch educational experience for our students.”
