The Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology will be hosting the 1st annual MBMG Mining and Mineral Symposium on May 8-10 on the Montana Tech campus in Butte, MT.
The symposium will be a forum for professionals and amateurs interested in mineralogy and economic geology to share their cumulative knowledge of mineral occurrences within Montana, adjacent states, and the Pacific Northwest. Papers on Mexico and other parts of the world will also be considered.
Proposals from the following categories are welcome:
Papers submitted by professionals, amateurs, and students will be considered by the selection committee. Extended abstracts must be submitted by April 10, 2015, to Stanley Korzeb at skorzeb@mtech.edu (406-496-4171).
