Wellness in all aspects of life will be featured, encouraged and celebrated at the Fall Montana Tech Wellness Fair. This premier event is September 17th, Wednesday, 10 AM to 2 PM, in the Copper Lounge on the Montana Tech campus. The event will feature wellness activities, information booths and screenings. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to dress casually so they can participate in activities.
The focus of the Montana Tech Wellness fairs is to demonstrate what it means to be a “well person” by exposing the Tech community to various on and off campus health related resources. The Montana Tech Bachelor Student Nurses, Highlands College Medical Assistant students, Circle K club members, Associated Students of Montana Tech (ASMT) representatives, and Montana Tech Resident Life Assistants will join with a multitude of community providers to create a fun and educational experience.
“Our wellness fairs keep growing and gaining in popularity. Each year, we say this is the best yet! We enjoy seeing our community partners interacting with our Tech community,” reports Joyce O’Neill, Counselor and Disability Services Coordinator.
The Fall Wellness Fair is sponsored by Montana Tech’s Office of Student Life and the Montana Tech Student Wellness Task Force. Many Montana Tech faculty and staff join with students in this premiere event.
