Montana Tech’s Pearson VUE Testing Center, located at Highlands College, is now authorized to deliver Microsoft Certification exams. The Center, which opened this past summer, is certified by Pearson Education as an official testing location for many industry exams including the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam, the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) and now, the 170 + Microsoft Certification exams - just to name a few.
“Montana Tech is very cognizant of its status as a university which has significant expertise in science, technology, engineering and math,” said Dr. Doug Abbott, Provost of Montana Tech. “It therefore feels very appropriate that we have this state-of-the-art testing center. This facility allows us to serve our students not only with degree programs, but also with the many increasingly valuable industry recognized credentials, such as the Microsoft Certification exams.”
The Pearson VUE Testing Center is considered state-of-the-art because of its high level of security features to assure the credibility of the exams and the identity of those seeking these very important and valuable industry credentials.
“In today’s increasingly complex internet and technology environment, a certification from Microsoft will help prove to employers that our students have the technical skills necessary to do the job,” said Cory Woolverton, Highlands College Network Administrator and one of the driving forces behind securing the testing center for Montana Tech.
