Dr. Rick Douglass, professor in the Biology Department at Montana Tech, spent a week in Argentina recently teaching a week-long course, which included fieldwork on zoonotic diseases, at the University of Buenos Aires,. Participants in the course ranged from undergraduate and Ph.D. students along with professors and professionals from various health services. Maria Victoria "Toya" Vadell, a Fulbright scholar last summer at Montana Tech, arranged for the training and field work.
