In 1986 Kevin Shannon, a Butte businessman, started a scholarship club to support Butte High & Butte Central students attending Montana Tech. Since that time, the Shannon Scholarship has positively impacted nearly 350 students pursuing a post-secondary education at Montana Tech. The Shannon family is humbled by the response and would like to thank all the Butte community memberswho have made this possible over the years.
