Highlands College of Montana Tech will sponsor its 2013 Wellness Fair for students, faculty and staff on Wednesday, February 13th from 10 am to 1 pm. The event will be spread around various places throughout the college.
This event brings together health and wellness students and experts from various Montana Tech departments along with community services including the Butte-Silver Bow Health Department, the Community Health Center, the YMCA and Safe Space. This collaboration between the college departments and community organizations is intended to create an educational experience focused on health and wellbeing.
“We take a holistic approach to the health of our students,” explained Cricket Pietsch, Highlands College counselor. “Our hope is to help provide some fun, educational activities and information because health and happiness are critical to our overall wellbeing.”
The Wellness Fair is an annual event sponsored by Montana Tech’s Office of Student Life and Highlands College Administration.
