Profile
A piece of paper or degree indicates that you know how to learn. Each individual can choose their direction, push the boundaries, and forge their own paths. I have been fortunate to have been given multiple opportunities to forge my unique career path, which has led to incredible growth and variety of experiences and deepened my passion for the mining industry.
As I continue my career, my goal remains the same: to inspire and empower the next generation of mining engineers. Mining Engineering students can apply the problem-solving skills we equip them with to any career path and prepare them for taking on life's most challenging issues.
Drawing on my experience in engineering, metallurgy, and metal sales, I want to broaden each student's perspective of the mining industry, understanding the bigger picture of commodity markets and how they participate in them. In my courses, students focus on strengthening their technical skills and softer skills like communication, collaboration, and leadership.
