Biography

Dr. Sitaula is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Montana Tech. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Texas at Dallas, Texas, and has also completed his Masters in Applied Mathematics along with a Graduate Certification in Data Science from the same institution. Additionally, he holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. With this extensive academic background, Dr. Sitaula demonstrates both the capability and enthusiasm to teach a broad range of courses, encompassing Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, and Machine Learning.

Research Interests

Dr. Sitaula is primarily focused in Symbolic Computation within Computer Algebra. He is presently dedicated to the development of practical and efficient algorithms for computing Discrete Residues of a Rational function. Additionally, Dr. Sitaula is interested in the fields of Data Science and Machine Learning, particularly in areas such as Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Data Cleaning, and the predictive analysis by both Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning techniques.

Non-Research Academic Interests

Outside of research, Dr. Sitaula is deeply committed to fostering strong connections with his students, aiming to cultivate an optimal learning environment. He is passionate about addressing any challenges students may face, whether they arise within the classroom or in their personal lives, in order to facilitate their learning experience.
