Why Study Warehousing at Highlands College?
The Warehousing Certificate of Technical Studies (C.T.S) prepares students for essential roles supporting broadband and infrastructure projects through hands-on logistics training. This program focuses on inventory management, material handling, and workplace safety. Graduates develop the skills needed to keep projects running efficiently in fast-paced warehouse and supply chain environments.
Logistics and Supply Chain Skills
Students learn how materials move through a project—from delivery to deployment. Training focuses on inventory systems, organization, and workflow processes critical to supporting construction and broadband infrastructure.
Hands-On Warehouse Training
Gain practical experience using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks while learning real-world warehouse operations. Students develop the ability to safely and efficiently manage materials in active environments.
Workforce-Ready Preparation
This short-term program emphasizes job-ready skills in receiving, tracking, storing, and distributing materials. Graduates are prepared to step into entry-level roles supporting a variety of industries, including broadband deployment.
Pathway to Broadband Technology C.A.S.
This program can be applied toward the Broadband Technology Certificate of Applied Science. Students can expand into broader roles that connect logistics, field operations, and infrastructure support.
