Biography

Research Interests

My research focuses on the ecology of small mammals, climate, trophic interactions, and Sin Nombre virus in North America. I tackle disease transmission and environmental health from an ecosystem approach, with humans being a component of ecosystems. My research has both fundamental and applied outcomes and involves a combination of field and laboratory work.
