Research Interests

As a Psychological Scientist with a focus on adolescent and adult peer relations, I am primarily interested in how and why people harm and help one another. My current focus of research involves taking current theoretical and research paradigms examining social/relational aggression (when we attempt to manipulate and hurt each other by gossiping, ostracizing, or withdrawing affection or friendship) and applying them to online interactions.

Other research interests include online and gaming social interactions as well as the environmental and genetic correlates of conduct disorder and antisocial personality disorder.
