Teaching and Research Interests:

Henry Gonshak is an English professor in the Liberal Studies program at Montana Tech. He teaches College Writing I and II, British Literature, Holocaust Studies, Fiction Writing, Gay and Lesbian Studies, Shakespearean Drama, Introduction to Literature and Sports Literature. In 2000, he was awarded the Rose and Anna Busch Endowed Professorship for excellence in teaching, research and scholarship, an endowment he still holds. In 2008-2009 he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to spend a year teaching at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. He previously reviewed books and local theater for "The Montana Standard," Butte's local newspaper. He writes reviews for The Jewish Review of Books. He has authored a book titled "Hollywood and the Holocaust." It is a study of Hollywood movies about the holocaust and was published in 2015 by Rowman and Littlefield.
