The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship is the most prestigious undergraduate scholarship awarded in the United States for natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering. The Goldwater Scholarship provides up to $7,500 per year for up to two years.

Nominees are submitted for national consideration by the Montana Tech National Student Awards Committee (NSAC). Founded in 2006, NSAC's mission is to create a campus community that fosters and supports outstanding Montana Tech students throughout their education.
