How To Apply

Registration for new students opens in early June and continues throughout the summer until classes are full. Students are encouraged to register early as some classes fill up faster than others.

Before registering for classes, students need to review their "Application Status" in OrediggerWeb. Missing items from the requirement checklist should be sent in now. If official ACT/SAT scores are missing students may not be able to register. Official scores can be sent to Montana Tech through the ACT or CollegeBoard websites using Montana Tech’s school codes – 2418 (ACT) or 4487 (SAT).

Once "Application Status" is reviewed, students can sign up for one of three available registration options:

Admitted Student Day – June 27

Admitted Student Day is the first and best option to get registered. This full day event is especially designed for students to get to know campus, meet fellow classmates, mingle with current students, and of course, get registered for classes. Students who attend Admitted Student Day get first pick of classes!

Summer Registration Event – July 25

Summer Registration is a quick and easy way to get signed up for classes. This is the perfect option for students who want to see campus and meet with their advisor, but don’t have a lot of time to spare.

Virtual Advising Appointment

Can’t make it to campus this summer? No problem, just sign up for a Virtual Advising Appointment and an advisor will contact you during a set time to work out your schedule via phone and e-mail.

After choosing the best registration option, head to the “Visit Us” page of your personal website to sign up or call Enrollment Services at (406) 496-4256.
