Directions for Techxpo Poster Printing

NOTE: The plotter is not to be used by students.

If you would like me to print your poster, please follow the instructions below:

  • Create your poster in Publisher. Ensure your poster is 36” x 48” and use the provided template.
  • Four, 2” x 2” black outlined boxes, two at the top and two at the bottom, have been added to the template. DO NOT PUT ANY DATA IN THESE BOXES! These boxes are placeholders for the grommets. These boxes need to be deleted on your final poster.
  • If your poster is created in a program other Publisher and/or bigger than 36” x 48”, you will need to have your poster printed elsewhere and incur the cost.
  • Please come to my office, MG 117 or MG 102 computer lab, from April 12, 2018 to April 19, 2018 to drop off your file.

I will print your poster on plain paper for you to review and make corrections. Then, I will print it on the new media we used in 2018.

With the new media, we eliminated the science fair board and glue. I will be putting grommets in the top and bottom or your poster for 2019. We will be using magnets to hold the poster to the drapes at the bottom. This is why the boxes where put in the top and bottom for the spacing of the grommets.
