Montana Tech Hosting DOE National Lab Day

Montana Tech is proud to host Montana’s first U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Lab Day. This event will be held October 8-9, 2019, to enable Montanans to learn about and explore opportunities for partnerships with DOE national laboratories. The agenda and networking will acquaint Montana researchers, industry,The DOE maintains 17 preeminent national laboratories across the country, each providing distinctive scientific and technological capabilities that are often beyond the scope of academic and industrial institutions. The Labs also operate and maintain major scientific user facilities as shared resources for the scientific community, and they provide extraordinary educational opportunities for students.

Thanks to the support of campuses that have helped coordinate this event (Montana Tech, Montana State University, University of Montana, and MSU-Northern), all National Lab Day events at Montana Tech are FREE and will be held in the Student Union Building (SUB).
