Students will have a chance to learn about interviews and resumes. We have personnel that will work with our student’s one on one as well. Our line program has information on apprenticeships and employers as well as employers who contact us with job opportunities and openings. We do not apply or interview for the students, it is up to the student to take charge of their career.
 
Depending on the utility or contractor and where they are located in the U.S.A., but the starting average is $19 to $26 per hour.
 
Yes, you need a current, valid driver's license without restrictions to obtain a CDL, Class A.
 
Class is held Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Unexcused absences and tardiness are not tolerated. You are expected to be in class every day, on time, and ready to learn. We treat this as if it were a job.
 
Tools are offered at a discount from supporting vendors at the time of registration. You can usually get a better price there. Proper body belt sizing and fitting are very important and are done at registration. Any tools or climbing gear not purchased at registration will have to be inspected to ensure that it meets MT Tech safety standards.
 
Probably not, Financial Aid is awarded based on several factors. It is important you fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. You can apply at www.fafsa.gov. Be sure to use school code 003793. You may need to apply for student loans to help cover the tuition costs. See the financial aid section of this site to get started applying for financial aid.
