Work Summary: Gary Wyss has over 22 years of combined experience in the analytical laboratory and applied water treatment technologies. Experienced laboratory and pilot scale research for selenium remediation. Mercury removal studies conducted using ion exchange and process technologies. He has been responsible for lab work, pilot plant work, research, process development, management, and environmental compliance.

CAMP MLA Experience:

  • Mineral Liberation Analysis for Stillwater Mining Company: Performed MLA on converter matte and slag samples to determine stable oxide and sulfide phases to assess losses of platinum group elements (PGE’s). (2011)
  • Mineral Liberation Analysis for Coronado Madison Mine: Performed MLA on an ore sample to determine liberation of copper minerals for potential processing. Results were placed into report format for client. (2011)
  • Mineral Liberation Analysis for ESCO Corporation: Performed MLA analysis on foundry sand to determine stable mineral phases of the sand and fines. Results were placed into report format for client. (2010)
  • Mineral Liberation Analysis for Thompson Creek Mining. Performed MLA analysis on ore, concentrate and tailings samples to assess molybdenite processing efficiency. Data submitted to client for evaluation. (2010)
  • Mineral Liberation Analysis for METCON Research: Performed MLA for METCON Research on copper concentrate samples. Analysis consisted of determining copper mineralogy of ore and processed sample. Results were placed into report format for client. (2010)
