Staff at Montana Tech are employees in non-teaching roles of various types in support of the educational, research, and service programs of the University. Some of them are in front-facing offices and others are hidden gems.

Pat on the Back recognizes individual staff members and/or teams who have made exceptional efforts toward achieving the mission, vision, and goals of Montana Tech. Those eligible for the Staff Pat On The Back recognition include:

Must have worked at Montana Tech for at least 6 months
Must be Staff (non-teaching, classified or contract professional)
Displays an overall positive attitude
Has gone above their set duties
Provides excellent service to their co-workers, students, and campus as a whole
Contributes to the success of Montana Tech's campus community
