DiggerCards are needed to:
- Pick up payroll and loan refund checks in the Business Office
- Use the Library, HPER, and Academic Center for Excellence (ACE)
- Gain access to computer labs after hours
- Attend athletic events (Students only)
- Deposit and spend Digger Dollars
- Use meal plans
- Take advantage of Digger Discounts
Photo Requirements
Dos:
- Current color photo
- Neutral color and smooth background
- Centered, facing the camera
- Include top of head down to collarbone
- Eyes open and natural facial expression
- Wear prescription glasses if you normally do
Don'ts:
- Tilt or side angle your face
- Shadows on face
- Crop off the top of your head or zoom in too close
- other visible people, pets, or objects
- inappropriate expressions
- Wear sunglasses, hats, or headphones
Email your photo, student ID number, and legal first and last name to diggercard@mtech.edu.
You will receive an email confirmation when your submission is accepted and your DiggerCard is ordered.
DiggerCard Center Location and Hours
The DiggerCard Center is located on the lower level of the Student Union Building (SUB) in room 116. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and closed on holidays.

Digger Dollars
- Digger Dollars can be added to your DiggerCard and used anywhere on campus: Bookstore, Mail/Copy Center, Library, Business Office, SSC Dining, Coffee Mill, Dining Services and most vending machines.
- Digger Dollars are needed on cards to print in computer labs.
- Digger Dollars carry over from semester to semester. You do not lose Digger dollars ever. If you graduate and have a balance on your card, you can get a refund through the DiggerCard Center, room 116, lower level of the SUB.
